February Newsletter
Hello everyone! Apologies for the gap in newsletters – a lot of things have happened in the past year and I’ve not painted as much. This newsletter will cover the art I’ve finished since the last newsletter (June 2019), art for sale, and the raffle (at the end). Thanks to all those who’ve waited for updates or commissioned pieces for your patience. Since I also missed publishing the January newsletter – I’d also like to wish everyone a Happy New Year! I hope that everyone had a pleasant 2019 and will have an even better 2020 🙂
If you like to see my work as it comes out or as I’m working on it, I post almost-daily on Facebook, Minds, Instagram, and Gab, and my videos will also be posted on my Youtube channel. My original work is currently for sale on Etsy.

February Plans:
This month’s theme is one of my favorites, “Outer Space.”
Paintings Since June 2019:
June’s theme was “Ships/Boats,” but the other paintings made after June were not in any specific theme as I painted as time/ health allowed 🙂
Minis:
I was also able to complete some commissions during this time (thank you very much to all who have asked me to paint something special for them!). All of these were based on previous paintings, so they might look quite familiar!

Artwork for Sale:
If you’re interested in buying any of my original pieces, they will often be available on my Etsy site in a week or two after they’ve been painted – I post new items every Thursday. If there is a piece that catches your eye that has not yet been put up for sale (such as some of the artwork posted in “last month’s artwork” above), feel free to send me a message and I will be happy to let you know what the price will be and you can have the chance to reserve or claim the painting before I put it up for sale officially!
Upcoming Raffle:
Every first Friday of every month, I will have a raffle, which you can enter to win something for free! This month’s raffle will be on Friday, February 7th for this 12×36″ skull-nebula painting! 🙂 All you need to do to enter is to comment, letting me know what your favorite celestial object is (a specific galaxy, nebula, planet, star?) – or send me a message on any of my social media posts, on my website, or directly to my email address (scenesbycolleen@gmail.com).
