I wanted to paint a skull that was floating in the air, and I had planned to give it wispy, smokey strands melding into the skull, but as I was making it, I liked how the “strands” looked like hair, so I went with that, and mixed up the colors so that I’d get some saturated pinks and purples as well as some pastels. Mostly, I just had a fun time seeing what kind of wispy hair arose out of each brushstroke, so I hope you enjoy this guy too 😀
