I’m starting to get behind, and even though this one was painted yesterday (“on time”), I need to catch up! I’ll be painting all weekend, most likely…
So this one was inspired by those clear marbles with cool colorful designs flowing through them. My dad has a giant box (a WW2 ammo box, in fact) full of marbles, and when we were little, we would set up all sorts of marble runs. I really liked the ones that were more transparent with fun designs inside and/or sparkles or bubbles. I thought it would be cool to make skull marbles in the same sort of way! I think I mostly pulled off my idea, but I have some thoughts about what I would do next time I try to paint marbles 😀
