The fortieth skull!

After painting an octo-skull for Skull 10 and everyone seemed to enjoy it (including me!), I thought that another octo-skull might have to happen, and so here it is! I experimented a bit with a few colors and still going for a more abstract-like way of laying on color to get a fun texture, but still having a bit of blending on the base colors I put down so that I have a good outline on which to build upon. I really had a lot of fun with this one (even though it took a long time like the last one!), and I think that I *might* even like it even better than Skull 10! Let me know which one you think is better 😀

Spooky Film: Today’s spooky film of the day is “Nightbreed.” I’m pretty sure I watched this on a whim because I was looking for something a little spooky and different, and this one delivered. They obviously had a lot of fun with costumes and weirdness, so even if it’s not an “amazing classic,” I thought it was interesting to see all the neat, weird spookiness.
